AN ex-soldier was yesterday jailed for a minimum of 11 years for six rapes.

Lance Corporal Jonathan Haynes, 30, formerly of the Royal Logistics Corps, dragged his victims into his car at knifepoint.

He was caught after one woman spat on the car floor so her DNA would trap him, Bristol crown court heard.

Haynes, of Chippenham, Wilts, had denied rape and kidnap. Sentencing him, Judge Neil Ford said: "A clever, cunning predator, you still do not accept you committed these crimes."
