British police say they have charged six men with terrorism related charges. They were arrested last week in a major anti-terror operation in the Birmingham area.
Four of the men were charged Sunday with preparing for acts of terrorism. Police said two of them had travelled to Pakistan for terrorist training, including bomb and poison making. The other two were said to be planning a bombing campaign.
Two others were charged with failing to disclose information. One was also charged with terrorist fundraising.
Another man continues to be questioned, but has not yet been charged.
The men, all from the Birmingham area, hold British passports and are between 25 and 32-years old.
Police also arrested a 22-year old woman in the anti-terror operation on suspicion of failing to disclose information that could help prevent an act of terrorism.
