Four baby squirrels have been adopted by an English wildlife centre after they were blown out of a tree during a hurricane last week.
The five-week-old babies were orphaned after Hurricane Katia blitzed through Northumberland county.
A passer-by came by the squirrels but could not find their mother anywhere.
They were taken to a local vet who passed them onto the Sanctuary Wildlife Care Centre.
Volunteers feeding the critters goats' milk every three hours and will look after them throughout the English winter.
"At this time of year the squirrels would be collecting food for winter but even if we released them in November they wouldn't have enough time," sanctuary owner Kim Olson said.
They are planning to release the animals into the wild early next year.
