STRICTLY Come Dancing vixen Nancy Dell'Olio says she intimidates men because she is so popular.

Nancy, who has put her romance with theatre director Sir Trevor Nunn on hold, says her high profile can ruin relationships.

"My previous partner, he couldn't cope with my popularity. Men sometimes find it difficult to cope with a woman who is the centre of attention," she told Hello! magazine, out now.

Nancy, 50, dances with Anton Du Beke for the BBC1 show, which starts Friday.
