Israel Embassy Attack in Egypt Strains Countries' Relations - Slate Magazine

The attack is the second incident in recent weeks that suggests Israel's fragile relations between Arab allies appear to be fraying. Turkey recently expelled Israel's ambassador over Israel's refusal to apologize after eight Turkish nationals were killed in a raid on a flotilla trying to reach Gaza. Egypt protestors, representing a growing resentment towards its Northern neighbor, were demanding among other things that their country stop sending its oil to Israel, and the Camp David Peace Accord be dropped.
