Her mother has threatened to pull her from the show
It's Boot Camp time on The X Factor and most of the attention is on Kitty Brucknell, but for all the wrong reasons.
Her attention-grabbing behaviour has seen her branded a diva by the press and her fellow contestants. Saturday's show saw her rowing with Honey Shazad over who got to sing lead in their group performance of You Got The Love, which also featured Terry Winstanley and Lascel Wood.
The 26-year-old has spoken to the Sunday Mirror about her time at Boot Camp, saying she felt bullied. "I didn't like Boot Camp, people were nasty to me. It was very upsetting because I was getting teased all the time. I don't really know why but I think it is down to jealousy," she said.
X Factor hopeful Honey told the tabloid she believed they were pitted against each other as the show's producers knew they would clash. "When I was put in a group with Kitty my heart sank as I knew there would be problems," she admitted.
"We were all in a big room at the hotel practising with other groups, and instead of rehearsing, Kitty started doing dance moves from her Lady GaGa lookalike work," Honey continued. "She wanted attention all the time, it was so frustrating."
Kitty's mother has spoken out to defend her daughter and said she wouldn't hesitate pulling her from the show if the bullying got too much. Mum Mary said: "Some acts were very nasty to Kitty and picked on her from day one at Boot Camp. She'd call me up in tears saying she wanted to come home. It was schoolyard bullying and other contestants kept making jokes about her being a diva and being fame-hungry."
She added: "This is obviously what she wants, but the whole experience has been extremely tough on her and as I said, if it gets really bad, I'll have no hesitation in telling her she needs to pull out of the show."
