A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a teenager who was wanted over the killing of a Nottinghamshire jeweller.
James Brodie, 19, has been missing since 2003, after Marian Bates was shot dead at the Time Centre in Arnold.
Dean Betton, 32, of Raleigh Street, Radford, Nottingham, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates' Court earlier charged with Mr Brodie's murder.
He will appear at crown court on Monday.
Earlier this week, Nottinghamshire Police searched land at Maize Farm, East Heckington, Lincolnshire, in connection with their inquiry.
Police said they have now completed their searches there.
A 31-year-old man, who was also arrested on suspicion of James Brodie's murder, has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
