A teacher who travelled to France with a 15-year-old pupil will appear in court later charged with child abduction.
Jeremy Forrest, 30, from Ringmer, near Lewes, East Sussex, went on the run with Megan Stammers, on 20 September.
The maths teacher from Bishop Bell C of E School, Eastbourne, was extradited from France, where the pair were found eight days after their disappearance.
He will appear at Eastbourne Magistrates' Court later.
They sparked a Europe-wide search and prompted public appeals from both sets of families for their safe return.
They were found in Bordeaux before Megan was reunited with her family.
Mr Forrest arrived back in the UK on Wednesday afternoon, flying into Gatwick Airport in West Sussex.
