Miley Cyrus, 18, splashes out $1.8 million on plush Miami beach front condo - Daily Mail

She has only just turned 18-years-old, but Miley Cyrus is already splashing out on some pretty plush property.

The Hannah Montana star has purchased a 1.8 million dollar waterfront condo in Miami, Florida, it has been revealed.

The pad is situated in north west Florida's Panhandle area and looks out onto the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

The apartment boasts four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a gym, and a private screening room.

The teenager is said to have bought the pad in January last year, and it's highly likely that she has redecorated to younger tastes from the slightly fusty original decor.

Miley, who turned 18-years-old last month, already owns another house in North Hollywood, near her $6 million family home, which she revealed she was renovating this summer.

'My house is going to be gorgeous because my mum is an interior designer,' Miley told People back in April.

'It's like if your mum's a clothes designer you're always going to look great. My mum's an interior designer so my house is going to be perfect all the time.'

'I want everything on the floor and really zen and my mum likes chandeliers. I wanna be able to touch stuff in my house and not be afraid of breaking it,' she added.

However, Miley's mother Tish and father Billy Ray Cyrus announced last month that they were ending their18-year marriage.

Billy Ray filed divorce papers in his home state of Tennessee citing irreconcilable differences.

Meanwhile, the star was the subject of some controversy today when a video leaked showing Miley experimenting with a bong five days after her 18th birthday.

However, sources connected with Miley told website TMZ that the smoke filling the bong is a natural herb called salvia which has psychedelic qualities. Possession of salvia is legal in California.

'I'm having a little bit of a bad trip,' the giggling star says into the camera, before adding: 'I want more of that s***.'
