A DAD-of-two died from a rare reaction to a nip on the hand from his dog, an inquest heard.
Damian Holden, 35, was bitten by Weimaraner Eric while camping in Wales in 2009. Mr Holden, of Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, fell ill and died in hospital of sepsis and organ failure three months later, the Crewe inquest was told.
Coroner Nicholas Rheinberg said: "This was an unusual case." Verdict: accident.
