Barrett Motor Cars, which already has a lineup of snazzy autos, including Jaguar, Ferrari and Maserati, is going to get two new brands in late spring.
Barrett has been awarded an exclusive deal to sell Saab. Barrett general manager Matt Burkholder said Barrett has a few Saabs now and more are coming. Saab had been part of General Motors, but is now owned by Dutch manufacturer Spyker Cars. Spyker is prodcing the Saab 9-3 SportCombi, Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan, Saab 9-3 Convertible, and the Saab 9-5 Sedan. In May, Saab will release a crossover vehicle named the 9-4X.
In addition, Barrett is getting the Fisker, a plug-in electric hybrid, in late May or June. The automotive press has touted the Fisker as a luxurious car that's being build alongside the Porsche Boxter in Finland.
