One of the key people arrested over the phone hacking scandal in Britain, Andy Coulson, is suing Rupert Murdoch's News International group for refusing to continue paying his legal fees.
Even though Andy Coulson has not worked for the publishers of the now defunct News of the World for over four years, the paper's owners were still paying his legal fees in relation to the hacking investigations.
But following Rupert Murdoch's appearance at the Home Affairs select committee in July the arrangement ended.
The company had previously stopped funding the legal fees for the private investigator, Glenn Mulcaire, who also then sued.
Mr Coulson was arrested in July over claims of hacking by staff during his time as editor.
He resigned as British prime minister David Cameron's director of communications in January.
