Tessa Jowell is Cabinet Office and Minister for the Olympics. She has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dulwich and West Norwood since 1992.

Jowell was born in London but educated in Scotland. She was appointed as Minister of State in the Department of Health after the 1997 Labour electoral landslide. She was a strong supporter of Tony Blair.

Caroline Flint is Shadow Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. She has been the Member of Parliament for Don Valley since 1997

She previously served as the Minister of State for Housing and Planning in 2008, and later as the Minister for Europe until her resignation in 2009. She cited the leadership of Gordon Brown as a reason for leaving.

She was born in London and is a member of the Fabian Society.

Andy Burnham is Shadow Secretary of State for Education and Election Coordinator. He has been the Member of Parliament for Leigh since 2001.

In 2006, Burnham was promoted from the Home Office to a Minister of State at the Department of Health. He ran as a candidate in the Labour leadership election.

John Healey is the Shadow Health Secretary. He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Wentworth and Dearne since 1997. Previously he was the Minister of State for Housing and Planning.

Liam Byrne is the Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Birmingham Hodge Hill since 2004.

Jim Murphy is the Shadow Secretary of State for Defence. He has been the Member of Parliament for East Renfrewshire since 1997. Until May 2010 he served in the Cabinet as Secretary of State for Scotland.

David Miliband has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for South Shields since 2001. He is Ed Miliband's brother and it has been suggested that he may relaunch himself at the Labour Party Conference 2011.
