PRINCE Harry will put his naked hotel romps behind him and resume public life with a show of support for the Paralympics.
The 27-year-old is said to be very keen to back the brave athletes and is expected to start by cheering on swimmers at the pool in Stratford on Friday.
Harry will join Prince William and Kate to watch Paralympians going for gold, and is determined not to let the Las Vegas hotel pictures distract the public's attention from the inspiring performances in London.
He is unable to join the Queen and his brother and sister-in-law for tomorrow's opening ceremony, but relishes playing a key role as an ambassador to the Games.
It will be the first time Harry has been seen in public since pictures of him naked with girls he met on holiday were splashed on the internet.
After jetting back to the UK, he spent the weekend with Prince Charles and Camilla at Birkhall in the Queen's Highland retreat of Balmoral, but stayed inside instead of joining the family at Crathie Kirk on Sunday.
A royal source said: "Harry knows all eyes will be on him when he turns up at the Paralympics and he is expecting it to be a bit of a circus.
"He is keen to get his first public appearance out of the way so he can try to carry on as normal and put all this behind him.
"As an official ambassador to the Games he is keen to do a good job for the athletes and for Britain. And more than that, he has huge personal interest and involvement with injured troops.
"So, the Paralympics is particularly close to his heart. He is passionate about work he does for his charity Walking with the Wounded.
"As a serving army captain, he of course has great empathy with the brave men and women who risk their lives and limbs for the country."
Clarence House released a pre-recorded video message of support from Harry to the Paralympians on Friday.
He praised the Games and said the focus was "very much on ability not disability".
Apache-flying Harry was facing a formal interview with his commanding officer over the Vegas romp and may be asked
to donate two weeks' salary to a charity of his choice as a punishment.
Following his Paralympic appearances, Harry will attend the annual awards for his charity WellChild on September 3 before returning to Afghanistan.
