A "concerned citizen" in Britain has forced the city of Leicester to admit that it is deathly unprepared for the unthinkable emergency -- a zombie invasion, the BBC tells the terrified world.
"Having watched several films it is clear that preparation for such an event is poor and one that councils throughout the kingdom must prepare for," the letter writer stated in a freedom-of-information request to the city council in the East Midlands region.
Leicester's information officer said that she did not know of specific reference to a zombie attack in the council's emergency plan but that "some elements of it could be applied if the situation arose."
"We've had a few wacky ones before, but this one did make us laugh," said Lynn Wyeth, head of information governance.
