MAGIC ON THE WEB: Longtime e-book refusnik J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter novels will be sold as e-books for the first time beginning in October.
BAD SPELL FOR RETAILERS: They will be sold exclusively through a new online portal to her wizarding world called "Pottermore." Established booksellers such as Amazon.com will be shut out from the process, though the books will be compatible with popular e-book readers, including Amazon's Kindle.
COMING SOON: The "Pottermore" site goes live on July 31, Harry Potter's birthday. The final movie in the wizard series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" will be released in July.
