DAVID Cameron's allies vowed "revenge" on Speaker John Bercow yesterday after the PM was slapped down twice in the Commons.
Mr Bercow cut Mr Cameron short when he ducked a question on the NHS from Ed Miliband and tried to attack the Labour leader instead.
The PM gave Mr Bercow a withering look and muttered under his breath as Tories shouted in fury while Opposition MPs cheered.
Mr Cameron was rewarded with another dressing down later for taking too long on a law and order answer at Prime Minister's Questions.
A Government source said: "One day! Revenge is a dish best served cold."
The Speaker was already a hate figure for many Tories who wish to oust him from his prestigious position.
