Third time lucky? Paul McCartney ties the knot - Ninemsn

Former Beatle Paul McCartney has married his third wife Nancy Shevell in a simple ceremony in London.

The couple, who have been dating since 2007, exchanged vows at the Old Maryleborne Town Hall in London – the place where Paul married his first wife Linda.

Nancy, 51, wore a knee length ivory dress and shoes designed by Paul's daughter Stella McCartney. Younger daughter Beatrice, seven, was the flower girl.

The wedding guests included fellow Beatle Ringo Starr and Nancy's cousin Barbara Walters.

"It was terrific, thank you!" Paul called out to the crowd after the non-denominational ceremony, waving to fans as the newlyweds made their way to the reception – a party at Paul's home with a vegetarian dinner and a vegan wedding cake.
