EE kicks off 4G price war - The Times (subscription)

The premium that mobile phone companies can charge for 4G is in danger of being wiped out less than a year after the services were launched.

EE, which was the first to launch its faster mobile service last year, has upped the ante on Vodafone and O₂, which launched their services in August, by offering a basic 4G package for £19 a month, including a handset. The price is below O₂'s equivalent packages at £32 and Vodafone's at £34, which both offer cheaper SIM-only deals.
