Angelina Jolie's right leg gets a ribbing - The Sun

The actress was keen to show off her thigh-high split at all times in her black velvet Atelier Versace number both on the red carpet and while presenting her award.

The 36-year-old glided onto the stage and stood with her hand on her hip like a teapot with her leg forced forward at all times.

The audience, which included her partner Brad Pitt and George Clooney, wolf-whistled as she maintained her ridiculously try-hard pose.

But not all her peers were quite as impressed with her leg action.

The screenwriters for The Descendants, who won the Oscar she presented for Best Adapted Screenplay, were quick to take the mickey out of her stance as they accepted their award.

While director and producer Alexander Payne accepted the gong, fellow screenwriters Nat Faxon and Jim Rash mimicked Ang's uncomfortable shape leaving the audience laughing hard at her.

The limb got so much attention it has even been given its own parody Twitter page called "Angelina Jolie's Leg" and the subject quickly started trending as viewers watched her weirdly-placed peg.

The account shows an image of Ang's and has Tweets including: "Look at me!" and "Still here. Great view, but thank god for the slit in this dress."

So far the account has attracted over 12,500 followers.
