A coroner in Warrington, England, ruled Gary Speed, coach of Wales's national team, might have killed himself accidentally. The coroner, Nicholas Rheinberg, said at an inquest that Speed, 42, died of hanging but that there was insufficient evidence to prove he had committed suicide. Rheinberg said Speed could have fallen asleep with the cable around his neck while sitting on stairs in his garage. His body was found by his wife on Nov. 27.
