ACTRESS Chloe Sevigny has sparked fury by branding Manchester one of the grimmest places she's ever been.
The blonde Boys Don't Cry star, 37, spent five months there filming TV series Hit And Miss and hated every second.
She said: "It was very hard being in Manchester. It rained every single day I was there.
"It was one of the grimmest places that I'd ever been to in my entire life and I was there so long."
The American Golden Globe winner played a pre-op transsexual contract killer in the series.
But the minute filming ended she left, saying: "I've gotta get the hell out of here. I'm not staying one more night."
Her remarks caused uproar on the internet. Natalie Edwards posted: "Chloe Sevigny will be welcomed back to Manchester NOT!"
