Law With Chinese Characteristics - Wall Street Journal

Former Chongqing top cop Wang Lijun received a 15-year sentence Monday for his role in the cover-up of Briton Neil Heywood's murder. Recall that when the case was first officially revealed to the public on April 10, the Xinhua news agency released a report promising, "China is a socialist country run by the rule of law. The dignity and power of law shall not be trampled on."
