Briton's body found in NZ after eight years - The Times (subscription)

The remains of British tourist, Hannah Timings and a New Zealand pilot have been recovered from the wreckage of a helicopter that crashed almost nine years ago with the pair on board.

Ms Timings, 28, from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and Campbell Montgomerie, 27, disappeared after setting off on a sightseeing flight from Queenstown to Milford Sound in January 2004.

The wreckage of the Hughes 500 chopper the couple were travelling in was spotted in mountainous terrain on Wednesday by the occupants of another helicopter flying over the remote Fiordland National Park in New Zealand's South Island.
