A young British woman's family were praying for a "miracle" after she was left on a life support machine following a snowboarding accident in the French Alps.
Mimi Watts, 26, was recovered unconscious from a snowdrift in Chamonix by a mountain rescue team at around 4.15pm on Saturday, the first day of the new ski season. She was found beside a red run in the Grand Montets ski area.
Ms Watts, who was working in the area managing the cleaning of a block of holiday flats, had suffered a cardiac arrest and spent 45 minutes without oxygen by the time
