Greipel takes Stage 13 win; Wiggins continues to lead - Kansas City Star

Le Cap D'Agde, France (Sports Network) - Germany's Andre Greipel edged Slovakia's Peter Sagan in a photo finish to win Stage 13 of the 2012 Tour de France on Saturday.

Greipel finished the 217-kilometer march from Saint-Paul-Trois-Chateaux to Le Cap d'Agde in a time of 4 hours, 57 minutes and 59 seconds to take his third stage win. He also won the fourth and fifth stages.

Sagan finished just behind Greipel, while Norway's Edvald Boasson Hagen took third place.

Great Britain's Bradley Wiggins continued his hold on the overall lead with a time of 59 hours, 32 minutes and 32 seconds. He is 125 seconds ahead of teammate Christopher Froome. Italian Vincenzo Nibali is 2:23 off the pace, while defending champion Cadel Evans is fourth -- 3:19 behind.

The race featured a 23km hill from the end in the only ranked climb of the day.
