ROME—Prosecutors on Sunday questioned several people in connection to a bombing outside a school in southern Italy that killed a 16-year-old girl and has raised public fears that the country could again fall victim to extremist violence of past decades.
Investigators in Brindisi—the southern port town where the attack occurred—have uncovered a security-camera recording of an adult male moving a trash receptacle filled with gasoline canisters into position near the gates of the vocational school, Brindisi's top prosecutor, Marco Di Napoli, told a news conference on Sunday.
