Cheryl Outshines Diaz At What To Expect... Premiere - MTV UK

EXCLUSIVE | Check out all the action from the red carpet here...

The cast of What To Expect When You're Expecting graced London's BFI IMAX for the premiere of the flick last night (22nd May) but it was a certain Geordie lass who stole the show.

Despite only having a small cameo in the movie, Cheryl Cole outshone the likes of Cameron Diaz, Matthew Morrison and Chace Crawford on the red carpet, wearing a flowing white creation by Victoria Beckham.

MTV.co.uk were there to witness Chezza mania as the Girls Aloud star received the biggest cheer of the night upon her arrival, with the 28-year old spending time signing pictures and posing for photos with fans.

It seems Cole wasn't only a hit with the crowds with movie co-stars Chace Crawford and Matthew Morrison both praising the Call My Name singer.

Speaking about Cole, Chace told us: "[Cheryl] She was great. She was doing her thing and was very professional from what I hear. I love her accent, it's great."

Matthew added: "It was really great actually meeting her. As a person who comes to London a lot, you can't get away from this city without seeing her on some magazine or something like that so it was nice to talk to her and meet her as a human being and she's quite lovely."

Morrison, who shot to fame playing Will Schuester in Glee, also said he would recommend Chezza for a role in the hit US TV show, saying: "Yeah I would. She's obviously a fantastic singer and dancer so I think she would fit in well on the show."

However, on-screen girlfriend Emma Pillsbury - played by Jayma Mays - has nothing to worry about as Matthew was keen to add that he wouldn't want Cole as a new love interest on the series as he "couldn't do that to Emma."

Cheryl later spoke to the BBC about her cameo in What To Expect When You're Expecting, stating: "This was actually just something I did for fun. During the course of recording the album, somebody said 'Do you wanna do a cameo?'"

"I mean I'm in it for about two minutes... I really enjoyed my experience... It was me just playing me, doing a role I'm used to."

She went on to add that her big screen debut was "far less daunting" than being a judge on The X Factor, claiming: "Once you've done live TV nothing can ever be that scary. To be able to take something four or five times is easy-peasy."
