The teenager was sent home by mentor Danny O'Donoghue on last night's results show after Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Jessie J panned his version of Jack Johnson's Better Together as "boring".
And while he is gutted not to make it to the semi-final, he admits he is not short of a sexy shoulder to cry on.
He told TV Biz: "I think I've got about 57,000 followers on Twitter and about a 100 of them are boys.
"It's nice to have female attention. Sometimes they don't even care about my singing. I wish they would care but it's nice to get little compliments.
"It's nice they think fondly of me. Very fondly sometimes."
Aleks' song choice was blasted by everyone on the panel except Danny but Aleks takes full responsibility.
He insists he was trying to remain low-key a point he emphasised openly on last night's show.
Aleks said: "Backstage, Danny said he had respect for me for standing up for myself.
"I was trying to say, 'There are a lot of powerhouses on the show I'm not the most powerful singer and wasn't trying to be and maybe it's nice to have a break from that'."
Aleks was even warned against performing the plodding song by show executives but he stood his ground because he had not been allowed to choose any of his live performance tracks so far.
He said: "If I had my time again, I'd change the two first performances. The BBC wanted me to sing a different song but I put my foot down and said I wanted to do it.
"One of the producers said, 'I don't think you should sing that song' and I said, 'I'd rather fall on my own sword than yours'."
At the end of Saturday's show, Danny performed with Aleks and the rest of his acts Bo Bruce, David Julien and Max Milner, singing Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know. But it was Danny who got a pasting from "fans" on Twitter, with one writing: "Danny's voice doesn't suit this song."
But Aleks said: "They're talking rubbish! If they're saying the lead singer of The Script wasn't as good as us lot, it's silly."
Aleks refuses to blame Danny for his exit but he reckons co-host Holly Willoughby has a lot to answer for.
He said: "Holly is a distraction. I think she looks fit all the time.
"When you're on stage you don't really see her but as soon as you come off... wow!"
