Rihanna is donning yet another dramatic new 'do.

This time the 24-year-old star decided to channel one of her personal idols, Bob Marley, with a head full of dreadlocks while performing on the "American Idol" finale show Wednesday night.

But if you keep up with Rihanna's every move on Twitter then you got a sneak peak of her new twisted tresses (which we're pretty sure are extensions) before she hit the "Idol" stage.

Tweeting 'Wake bake shake dem dreads," RiRi attached a picture of her lounging in bed with the locks falling across her face.

While we're not quite sure we like this look on her, the long locks are a childhood dream come true for the Barbadian beauty. When asked on Twitter why she decided to don the new 'do, the "Talk That Talk" singer replied: "their HOT! ;)" since I was 14, but mama Fent'z wasn't havin it! Hehe."

Well clearly her mom doesn't have much say these days. But knowing RiRi, it's only a matter of time (er, minutes) before she switches up her hairstyle or color yet again.
